Q. What does HiloNaz believe in? A. The Hilo Church of the Nazarene is a part of the Church of the Nazarene International. We are Christian, Holiness and Missional. We believe in one God in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is God's Word and contains everything we need for faith and practice. Q. Does HiloNaz have a school? A. Yes, Hale Aloha Nazarene School. Currently we are offering preschool for 3 and 4 year olds. You can find more information on the school's website at www.halealohanaz.com |
Q. How are the church services set up? A. We begin with music and worship lead by our worship team then prayer and the pastor's message. We close the service by recieving an offering, sharing announcements, greating visitors and a final prayer. |

Q. How big is your congregation? A. 40 to 60 warm and friendly people. |
Q. How long are the church services? A. Usually around 90 minutes. |
Q. What time does Sunday School start? A. 11:00 AM following a fellowship time around snacks and lasts about an hour. We have classes for children through adults. |
Q. Do you have small groups? A. Yes we currently have four active small groups and a prayer group. |

Q. What time do they start? A. We currently have four active small groups: One meets at 12:30 on Tuesdays for Older Adults; one meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM for Young Adults; one meets on Fridays at 6:30 PM for all ages; and one meets at 6:30 on select Saturdays for all ages. There truly is something for everyone. There is also a prayer group that meets at the church on Thursdays at 6:00 AM and then shares breakfast together at Cafe 100 afterward. The church is also open for prayer MWF 4AM-5AM and Wednesday 7PM-8PM. |
